Music

The philosophy of the Power PAC Music Department is to provide a strong foundation in informed music performance and appreciation through the teaching/learning process. Factors in this foundation include preparation for performance; skills of performance; process of performance; and performance of  varied repertoire, both alone and with others, in a variety of settings.

This school year will be filled with wonderful adventures as you explore music in your applied area of study in Vocal Music, Instrumental Music, or Piano, and related classes in Music Skills, Music Literature, and Written Theory and Keyboard Skills. Your giftedness in music and your love for it have brought you to this exciting place.

The PAC Music program is designed to open further the world of music to you as you study, develop your ability to express yourself, and engage listeners through music. Our purpose is to give guidance and support to you in your quest for exploring answers to the questions of what, when, where, why, and how of music. Develop good habits like being self-disciplined, having a positive attitude, listening intently, practicing productively at home and in school, and maintaining organization.
